Shared with staff. Earlier info stated we were at 9.74%. Quite an error being swept under the rug.

”Good afternoon leaders!

I just completed a call with the Jackson County Health Department, the Kansas City Health Department and the county.  They said they had a data issue on their dashboard and it has been fixed, but not all data links are back up.  We are now at 227.36 per 100K per 14 days and 13.2% positivity rate.  The confidence in the % positivity rate has waned for at least one of the health departments.

That means, we are at green for 6 of the 8 CDC metrics and red for 2 of 8.  We had thought we were at 7 and 1.  No decision change.  We are still moving to hybrid on October 5th.

That means we are a 2 green, 1 yellow, 2 red for the local gating criteria.  We had thought we were at 2 green, 2 yellow, 1 red.  No decision change.  We are still moving to hybrid on October 5th.

I want to continue to share the latest and greatest.  The health departments are working hard and I can't thank them enough for what they have done.  If you have a moment and inclination, dropping them a kind word wouldn't be a bad idea.

Thank you everyone.  Have a wonderful evening
